Version of the Lexus LFA will conduct a driver program


Having a supercar like the Lexus LFA With 552HP on tap, it has enough oomph for you in serious trouble and, given the $ 375,000 price tag and limited run only 500 units, the good news that Lexus will offer driver development program for owners of LFA which will take place from 08 -15 March, at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California.

Professional Racing will provide expert guidance during the course of the day, which includes theoretical and track lapping sessions, limiting the performance of training and technical demonstrations.

"This program offers a unique opportunity to experience the 552 horsepower supercar Lexus LFA in a natural environment," said Mark Templin, group vice president and general manager, Lexus Division. "Infineon and tips from professional drivers will improve the overall ownership experience of LFA."

First presented as a concept model in 2005 Detroit Auto Show, the production version LFA finally shown in October 2009 at the Tokyo Motor Show. However, it took another year to go into production, with the first units delivered in the U.S. last month. The entire batch of 500 units expected to be delivered in 2012 and, according to Lexus, there are a number of LFAs is available for purchase.
